Advocacy & Communications Officer

Contract term: 1 year fixed term (and possibly longer), full-time
Location: London office
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000

The Advocacy and Communications Officer at The Animal Law Foundation will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to protect animals through legal interventions. The successful candidate will help develop and execute strategic programmes, raise awareness, and drive engagement on key animal protection issues.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a ground-breaking new charity and create meaningful change in the animal protection landscape in the UK.

Requirements

  • Education: Ideally a Bachelor's degree in law, politics, philosophy, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. An understanding of legal frameworks is required.

  • Experience: Ideally experience in project coordination, communications, public relations, marketing or related work. Experience working in the non-profit sector or animal advocacy is highly desirable.

  • Animal Advocacy: A strong passion for animal protection and our mission. Knowledge of animal law and policy issues is a plus.
